Data privacy & cookies

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing.

Contact us

If you contact us by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months in order to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not share these data without your consent.

If you contact us by phone and you do not make an appointment, no data will be saved. If you contact us by phone and make an appointment for a massage, your name will be entered in our appointment calendar.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device using the browser. Our cookies do no harm.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow this only in individual cases.

Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Necessary cookies:

These cookies on our website include the technically necessary session cookie. The session cookie assigns the website visitor a unique, randomly generated value. This value is necessary for some functions, e.g. for submitting forms. Because spam bots that automatically send spam often do not process cookies and can therefore not send any forms.

Session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed.

A cookie is also set if you make your selection in the cookie banner.

Preferences cookies:

If you allow the "Preferences" cookies, Google Maps will be loaded on the homepage and a connection to Google will be established.

Access data

In particular, every time you access our website, your computer (device) transmits the following information to enable you to visit the website:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time Zone Difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the requirement (concrete page)
  • Access Status / HTTP status code
  • each transmitted amount of data
  • Website from which the request comes
  • Browser and browser settings
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

The above data fields are stored for a limited period of one week (server log files) up to 3 months (firewall log files), whereby a personal reference from these data is not directly producible, since the personal reference of the associated IP address only by judicial decision by the Authority can be questioned if suspected of a crime with your provider. We use this data for the operation of our website, in particular to detect and eliminate website errors, to determine the utilization of the website and to make adjustments or improvements. The processing of the log files is exclusively fully automated through the use of state-of-the-art software, based on ISO 27001: 2013 and the IT Security Manual.

HTTPS – SSL/TLS certificate

The website uses an SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt (Let's Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority brought to you by the non-profit Internet Security Research Group (ISRG). 1 Letterman Drive, Suite D4700, San Francisco, CA 94129) to transmit data in encrypted form. When you visit our website, an OCSP request is sent to Let's Encrypt. This OCSP request is used to check whether the certificate has been revoked. OCSP requests transmit your IP address and the user agent string (browser type indexing text) for your browser. Let's Encrypt does not use data from OCSP requests to create profiles or identify people. Logs are temporarily collected by your CDN provider for operational purposes, but are usually deleted in less than seven days. Subsets of the OCSP request logs can potentially be stored for extended periods of time to investigate software errors or misuse. After the examination, all saved logs are deleted.

Google Maps

Our website uses the Google Maps map service. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you visit the page with the embedded map, information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there but only after you accpet the preference cookies. We have no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our massage studio in Vienna easy to find. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can find more information on handling user data in privacy policy from Google.

YouTube

Our website uses the provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA for the integration of videos.

The video will only be loaded if you agree to the "Marketing" cookies. We have integrated the YouTube video with the extended data protection mode. In this case, YouTube still contacts Google's Double Click service, but according to Google's privacy policy, personal data is not evaluated.

If you click on the video, your IP address will be transmitted to YouTube and YouTube will find out that you have viewed the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information is also assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).

For more information, see the YouTube privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=de

Privacy policy for Facebook

MY THAI Massage uses the technical platform and the services of the Facebook network, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.

We would like to point out that you use this Facebook page and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. comment, like, share, rate). Alternatively, you can also access the information offered on this page on our website at https://www.mythai-massage.com.

When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook records, among other things, your IP address and other information that is available on your terminal device in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this under the following link: https://www.facebook.com/help/pages/insights

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Facebook and possibly transferred to countries outside the European Union. What information Facebook receives and how it is used is described in general terms by Facebook in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information about contact options for Facebook and the setting options for advertisements. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to information from Facebook, this IP address is anonymized and deleted after 90 days. In addition, Facebook stores information about its users' end devices (e.g. as part of the “registration notification” function). If necessary, Facebook is able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged into Facebook as a user, there is a cookie on your device with your Facebook ID. So Facebook is able to understand that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons which are integrated into websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these websites and to assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you. If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. In this way, Facebook information that can be used to directly identify you is deleted. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook ID. If you access the interactive functions of the site (like, comment, share, news, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. After you have logged in, you are again recognizable for Facebook as a specific user.

Information on how you can manage or delete existing information about you can be found on the following Facebook support pages: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy

As the provider of a fan page, we process your personal data (Facebook name) exclusively for the purposes of competitions in which you can participate voluntarily. You will find the current version of this data protection declaration in the respective competition post on our fan pages.

However, we would like to point out, if you send us a private message via our Facebook page, that data will also be processed here. Your data will be deleted by us as soon as your request has been finally answered and there are no statutory retention requirements, e.g. in a subsequent contract processing.

Manage and delete cookies

If you want to block or delete cookies, you can make these changes in the browser settings. To manage cookies, most browsers allow you to accept or reject all cookies or accept only certain types of cookies. You can also set it to ask you every time a website wants to save a cookie. The procedures for managing and deleting cookies vary, depending on which browser you use. To find out how to do this in a specific browser, you can use the built-in browser's help function.

Use of links

The website contains links to third party websites. As soon as you visit one of these pages, the privacy policy of this website is no longer valid. These sites use their own privacy policies and practices on the Internet. We encourage you to read these terms carefully before using the website.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. We will comply with any request regarding the protection of your rights without delay, at the latest within the statutory period of 1 month. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or if your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority. Barichgasse 40-42, 1080 Vienna, Tel +43 1 52 152-0, email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
